Medieval Times is a dinner theater and show. The show involves knights in various contests such as skill with the lance, jousting, and in sword fighting. The show is based on an overall theme of some dark enemy about to attack the kingdom.

Before the show began we tour the grounds, and learned that the medieval village that was there for us to look at its trinkets and artifacts, was constructed from an actual 200 year old village that had been exported from Spain. Very interesting.

People watching the show are divided into six groups, each having a specific knight to cheer on in the contests. A meal is served during the show, eaten with the hands and no utensils, of course.

It was a very good first event for our Orlando holiday trip.
