Murray Dunn grew up in a military family. His father served in WWII and was recalled for duty in the Korean War. As a youth, he lived in Fort Huachuca, Arizona; Stuttgart, Germany; Fort Belvoir, Virginia; Presidio, California; and Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiania.
Murray passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at his home in Wake Forest, NC, after a courageous battle with cancer. He had been a Business Systems Analyst for the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer and had worked in the information technology field for over 25 years.
At the time of his death Murray was survived by his wife of 30 years, Mona Henning Dunn; daughters, Cassandra Briggs and husband Carey of Haines City, FL and Courtney Dunn of Wake Forest; grandchildren, Dylan, Devon, and Jordan Briggs all of Haines City, FL, Ashley and Aydia Payne and Janessa Dunn all of Wake Forest; siblings, Bonnie Braden and husband Jay of Valrico, FL, Paul Dunn and wife, Dorothy of Buxton and Kim Tennant and husband Troy of Ormond Beach, FL; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Bryant and a brother, Stephen Dunn
