Bonnie Eileen (Dunn) Braden
October 19, 1947 - June 10, 2014

Bonnie Dunn grew up in a military family. Her father served in WWII and was recalled for duty in the Korean War. As a youth and a military dependent, Bonnie lived with her family as her father had duty stations in Fort Huachuca, Arizona; Stuttgart, Germany; Fort Belvoir, Virginia; Presidio, California; and Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana. She edited her high school year book. She worked at Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis and attended school there. She ultimately completed her formal education with a Bachelors in Science in Elementary Education from Purdue University, including some graduate studies. Bonnie's interests included all family activities, working with a variety of crafts, teaching and working with young children, cooking, volleyball, and her church activities. At various times she served as PTA President, founder of a preschool, commander's wife, the primary activist in getting a county park built in her community, preschool teacher, and deaf ministry helper.
