Michael Kernohan's 56th Birthday

Michael Kernohan celebrated his 56th birthday on December 27, 2021. The year had been a pretty good one for Michael and his wife Karri. Michael's trucking business continued to be a success, they found and purchased a home in Hudson that was on a canal leading to the Gulf, and they completed an extensive renovation of the property including opening up the living room and dining room, installing tile flooring throughout, painting the home's interior and exterior, complete upgrading of all appliances, and having the property professionally landscaped.

In honor of Michael's advancing age, however; here are some thoughts for him that will be beneficial:

  • One way to find out if you are old is to fall down in front of a lot of people. If they laugh, you're still young. If they panic and start running to you, you're old.
  • We are not saying you're getting old, but there could be a message in the fact that it now takes you two tries to get up off the couch.
  • You know you are getting old when it takes twice the time to look half as good.
  • Old age is understanding that you never appreciate what you have till it's gone. Toilet paper is a good example.
  • At your age, instead of hanging out a sign that says, "Do not Disturb," you probably need one that says, "Already Disturbed, Proceed with Caution."
    And lastly       . . . Try to remember: The greener grass across the fence may be due to a septic tank issue.

All joking aside, we certainly wished Michael a happy birthday and we sent our wishes for many more blessings in the year ahead.
