Jay and Joyce's 8th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Jay and Joyce celebrated their eight wedding anniversary at the Ocean Prime restaurant in Central Tampa, not too far from the airport. This is a very nice restaurant with a great reputation. Joyce had eaten there many years ago; this was Jay's first visit.

We arrived a few minutes early for our 5:30 reservation, and were soon seated at a window table that overlooked the lake in the upper left picture. We had indicated that this was an anniversary celebration, and we found our table embellished with rose petals and with a celebratory bubbly cocktail awaiting us.

Staff members offered their congratulations, and their service throughout our dining experience was just great.

While awaiting our dinner, Joyce ordered an Ocean Prime signature drink, "Berries and Bubbles."

Some of the drink ingredients are:

Piper Sonoma Brut (sparkling wine)
Marinated blackberries
Fresh lemon juice
Dry ice (for the signature "smoking bubbles" effect)

It was a tasty and very unique Beverage! Joyce is holding it in the picture below.

For dinner, Joyce ordered one of her favorites: Chilean Sea Bass, and Joyce said that was the best sea bass she has ever eaten. Jay ordered lobster, and that was very tasty.

Following the dinner we had crème brûlée. Delicious!
