Q: What takes a year's worth of hard work, eats up most of your Saturdays, requires you to drive more than 100 miles each week, and sometimes frustrates you very much . . . but is very worthwhile in the end? A: Earning a Master of Education in Educational Leadership. Anne did this while working full time for Hillsborough County as a Reading Coach for Temple Terrace Elementary School. She actually completed her work in December2011 but the university only conducts graduation ceremonies in May, so the family was off to DeLand to be present at her "hooding." Thanks to Nanny for flying in from Indianapolis and to Natalie and Robert for driving in from Alabama to surprise Anne. Before and after, the family gathered at the Marriott World Center - thanks to Philip Wright - to celebrate. A great weekend! |
