| Robert Alan Braden
|
| Robert Braden grew up in a military family. He was born shortly after his father assumed command of an engineer battalion at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Robert's youth was spent in Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania; Stuttgart and Hanau, Germany, and Tampa (Valrico); Florida; Fort Eustis, Virginia; and Tallahassee, Florida. His activities included youth wrestling, basketball, baseball, and soccer, with emphasis on the latter two. He was a varsity tennis player at Leon High School and active with his church youth group. He attended Georgia Institute of Technology and earned a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering. While at Georgia Tech he participated in a variety of intramural sports, and he was active in Campus Christian Fellowship where today he serves as an assistant pastor.
