Bonnie Eileen (Dunn) Braden

Bonnie Dunn grew up in a military family. Her father served in WWII and was recalled for duty in the Korean War. As a youth, she lived in Fort Huachuca, Arizona; Stuttgart, Germany; Fort Belvoir, Virginia; Presidio, California; and Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiania. She edited her high school year book. She worked at Indiana Universiy-Purdue University in Indianapolis and attended school there. She utlimately completed her formal education with a Bachelors in Science in Elementary Education from Purdue University, incuding some graduate studies. Bonnie’s interests included all family activities, working with a variety of crafts, teaching and working with young children, cooking, volleyball, and her church activites. At various times she has served as PTA President, founder of a preschool, commander’s wife, and the primary activist in getting a county park built in her community.
